Here is project 3 and again what a project it is!

 

We sourced this deal off-market & when we first viewed the property in May 2023, we were thrilled to be diving back in to another project after a few months off. Planning our vision and crunching numbers felt so exciting. Returning as the owners in February 2024 (after a lengthy completion process due to probate) made us realise we hadn't fully grasped the scope of work required.

 

Walking in felt like stepping back into the 1950s, coupled with the overwhelming smell of tobacco made us question the decision and we just wanted to shut the door and walk away. But in true DGT style, we didn't, instead we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

 

We began by stripping the property back, and then our team of builders, electricians, plumbers, and plasterers started bringing our vision to life. To date we've reconfigured the first floor added an additional bedroom, completed a full electrical rewire, plastered from top to bottom, added new radiators, windows and doors and are now planning, flooring, banisters, and modernisation of the bathroom and kitchen.
